Rug pads work well. I had to cut to size to fit my runner and area rug in front of interior door. Perfect!

Good for the price. If you can splurge and get the thicker one, it would be worth it. I needed a very large size so settled for this rug pad. It does the job, just isnt very thick. I knew that when purchasing, so kept it at 4 stars for the price.
