Auckland Brown Hand-Loomed Wool Shag Rug

This handmade area rug brings a cozy, tactile feel to your home with its thick, plush pile. It's hand-woven from 100% wool, using mill-spun yarns that offer a soft texture underfoot while remaining grounded in your space. The design includes tasseled edges for a playful, decorative finish that adds character to your floors. Because it features a shag profile, this piece adds a layer of depth and warmth to any indoor surface. Plus, the high pile provides a cushioned feel that softens hard flooring throughout your home. We recommend pairing this piece with a rug pad to prevent slipping.

Love this rug! The blue color is perfect for our room, and it’s very thick and feels good on the feet. Would definitely recommend.. Beth D. Barkhamsted, CT. Mon Jun 08 2026

We love the high, loopy pile of this area rug – it makes it such a warm and cozy foundation for a room where you love to relax. Handwoven from wool with a cotton backing, its earthy brown and ivory hues makes it an easy match with most decor schemes. What’s more, it’s stain-resistant, so it's a good choice for homes with kids and/or pets. We recommend rolling it out over a pad (sold separately) to keep it in place.

It’s a perfect runner for my kitchen by my island. It’s comfortable to walk on and a beautiful rug. I LOVE IT. Stacey. Parma, OH. Mon Sep 14 2026
