Due to the jute fibers in its construction, some threads may naturally come loose; if that happens, simply trim the thread with scissors. I love this rug! It is soft and smushy and cozy. You 100 need a rug pad because it is very slippery when on straight hard wood. It’s actually quite stretchy. The colors are a true taupe and warm dark beige. Really cozy and perfect transition to autumn.

Wow! As soon as I rolled this beauty out, I was amazed at the deep colors that changed the entire room. It's made the biggest difference in our living room. The size is absolutely the perfect match. It is a sturdy, yet beautiful rug that we will love for years to come. Thank you, Wayfair!!

This rug is prettier on the website than it is in person. We didn't really like the pattern or the colors in person. We also didn't realize it was jute, and a very rough texture. We are happy that we were able to order this sample before committing to a 9x12 rug.
