Lisle Machine Washable Persian Rust Multicolor Area Rug

Update: The edges are already fraying from normal use. I’ve had to glue and sew the corners because the edging is unraveling. Woven like a real rug. Feels like a neutral red. Really warms up our place. Definitely needs a rug pad, it’s very thin. We used 1/8 inch which didn’t make it cushy, but it doesn’t bend over the rug pad edges, so you can’t tell the pad is there. I’m so disappointed. This is in no way the color it looks like in the photo. It’s this deep purple/berry color instead of the rust. I expected waaaaay better quality from Birch Lane. Not only is the color totally different than what it looks like in their photos, but it’s super thin, it’s just an ink print that will completely lose its color and do weird things when washed. It already is looking terrible a month in. Returning it will be a bear, but there is no way I'm keeping trash.

Sadly, the rug didn’t look as great as the photos. Darker…the picture is fabulous…the reality would be a D-, but…we needed to find a rug that could handle the challenges presented by a beloved 14 year old dog. I really needed something very cleanable. We haven’t had that challenge yet…but we will.

The coloring is a lot different than the pictures, but not a bad rug.

This is a nice rug but the washable nature means it’s very thin and definitely needs a rug pad underneath
