This is the second rug that I have gotten from Birch Lane that I love! I got it in a runner for our kitchen and it matches perfectly. I will be purchasing some padding for under it since we have it on hard wood floors. We are slowly revamping our house because it's pretty bare, but this rug contributed a lot of texture and beauty!. I love this jute rug! The checkerboard border is the perfect amount of pattern thats enough to feel intentional but still neutral enough to go with everything. It has that warm textured vibe that I love and is sturdy but not scratchy. The material is perfect to hold up with our family running in and out of the door constantly. I highly recommend!. I really like this rug! It looks great in front of my fireplace. I especially really like the southwestern type design on it. It does come in various sizes so you can easily order the size that you need. I wish that I would have ordered the next size up but thats ok, it still looks great in front of my fireplace.
