Birch Lane™ Hand Knotted Wool Farida Rug

This rug is perfect for my space! I have mahogany wood/leather, olive velvet, and yellow-toned floor flooring, and some navy accents (not in photo) and you’d think it’s be easy to get a rug because those are fairly traditional colors? But this is the only one I’ve found that is appropriately muted, and not too bright/dark. The sparseness looks very near authentically vintage (I do have an actually vintage rug), is soft underfoot, no smell, edges laid flat after a single day, and upon prompting my partner describes it as “a solid rug”.

Not my favorite as it does not look quite as nice in person, as it does in the photographs. Somewhat cheaply made, as it appears to have stripes from where the pile is loosely, woven, and spaced further apart than some rugs and carpet. If you use as an entry rug by a door, you won’t mind it getting worn as it does not have the appearance of an expensive rug.
