Adalina Machine Woven Polypropylene Area Rug in Brown/Tan

I never imagined I would be this person, but Birch Lane's customer service has been one of my worst buying experiences. I was excited to try this rug + rug pad, but I was disappointed in the quality I received. The recommended rug pad was WAY too big/thick for the rug, and the rug itself never flattened due to the way it was packed. Some of the tassels were frayed, and the stitching on the back was coming undone as well. and I tried using heavy books to weigh the curling edges down, and I even tried giving it a couple of weeks of light wear to see if that would help. Unfortunately, the quality just wasn't there. I don't agree with Birch Lane's shipping policy when it comes to a product that simply does not meet the quality promised—unfortunately, the buyer is still responsible for shipping costs, even with a faulty product. Birch Lane did not offer any leniency or store credit to accommodate this issue. At the point of my return (weeks later), I only had one box appropriate for shipping back the rugs, but was required to use two labels. When I reached out to customer service via chat to request a single label or clarity around how I could use one box, I was met with unclear and robotic answers that eventually turned unprofessional as I continued to ask clarity around my options. I've purchased many things in the past from BL, but after this drawn-out and consistently unhelpful and unpleasant customer service experience, it is simply not worth it for me to take the risk on future purchases.

Softer than expected!

Excellent rug for mudroom. Thin enough for doors to move over. Wont show dirt. Thinking about ordering the matching runner to go in front of the sink.

Really nice rug for the price. It’s definitely thin as others have mentioned but it’s good quality stitching with no loose weaving. The pattern makes it pop a bit but very subtle. The fringe is a bit tangled out of the package but we straightened it with blue painters tape and it is sitting down more evenly. Hopefully it wears well but so far we give it 5 stars

The rug is beautiful! It’s well made and great quality for the price. I bought it for my deck and it the material is perfect for outdoors but it is very soft for an outdoor rug. Very impressed!

Not the most plush rug ever but its better for the environment and my cats love it. It fits well in any room and has really good grip on the floor-facing side. Love the rug and I believe it will last longer than other rugs I have purchased.

Very attractive, durable area rug. Was looking for a new area rug to go under my dinning room table and this fits perfect with my furniture. It hides dirt well and has a strong design. Very happy with this new addition and would highly recommend.

This runner is well made and looks great in the entry way of my little place. I have a fair amount of color in my living space so I wanted something a bit neutral on the eye AND something that’s wouldn’t show too much dirt or wear. And this is perfect for both needs. Probably would look great with many styles of decor. Might need to get some sort of grippers to keep it from migrating. Other than that it’s good and golden. Thumbs up!

This is a beautiful runner. I love natural products, and this is a well-made, woven beauty. The back of the rug is not anti-slip, so will probably need a gripper pad for underneath. Looks lovely in my home. Happy with the purchase.

I really like this rug. If you enlarge this you can see it really matches my tile. It is nice and it adds warmth to my kitchen. I live in Minnesota and the tile floors are very cold in the winter. Having a rug in front of my sink helps me stay warmer and gives my dogs a place to lay while waiting for our dinner. It looks great. The shipping was speedy and they were wrapped nicely. Truly a win!!!!
