Talise Pink/Gray Rug

Beautiful rug blends in nicely with the rest of the room.

This Persian style rug is the softest, prettiest Ive ever owned. While the listing describes it as pink, it is really more peach and rust, depending on the direction the fibers are brushed, along with grey, blue, and cream. The Luxcelle rayon fibers make it so silky-smooth with a bright sheen, especially in sunlight. It is a delight to walk barefoot on this rug! I found the colors to be accurately represented in the listings photos, at least on my mobile screen, which isnt always the case. The peach and rust goes so well with the coral paint above the picture rail in my living room as well as the accent chair and sofa and chaise, both of which I also got on Wayfair. The rug does have some strange, very small cutouts that seem to be placed randomly throughout. I cannot tell if it was intentional as part of the faux distressed vintage vibe or manufacturing defects. I have posted some extreme close ups of them, but fortunately, they are very small and are not at all noticeable when standing or sitting, I only noticed when taking the pics for this review. The rug will require special care when cleaning as Luxcelle (a brand name for rayon) is delicate if it becomes wet. This is a concern with having 2 dogs, but fortunately the rug is treated to be stain and liquid resistant. It is a short pile rug and has vacuumed well on the lowest pile setting without using the beater bar. It did have quite a lot of fluff in the canister the first few times, which is normal. There are great care tutorials online so you can safely clean this rug and keep it looking its best for years to come. Given the relatively inexpensive textile used in the rug, I do think that it is a little overpriced. That and the unusual cutouts are what keep this review from being a perfect 5 stars. Even so, I do recommend the rug, especially if you can get it on sale. I am absolutely in love with this rug. It looks amazing, feels soft, and has a beautiful sheen. You get great quality for the price, it stands up next to my other TurkishPersian rugs that are 5x the price. Would recommend!

This rug is gorgeous in person! The rug looks different depending on the lighting. I’ll share pictures so you know what I mean, but depending on the angle it can appear lighter or darker in the same light. The rug is soft, and has a fringe detail on the ends that adds a beautiful finish but isn’t over the top either. The rug laid nicely right out of the package with no chemical or dye odors like some rugs. We have a dog and the hair doesn’t get stuck to it, it’s vacuums up beautifully. If you like it in pictures you will love it in person!
