Good, solid table. Tabletop has slight surface variation (part of design) which was not visible on product image. Is almost like a "hand planed" feel. Delivery and set up service was great. Solid and sturdy. Great table!

Birch Lane is a brand owned by Wayfair. Birch Lane is incapable of handling customer dissatisfaction and will refer you to Wayfair to handle their mess. I was told by a teammate from Alpine Furniture????, "the item is listed as having a rustic finish/look, and plank design of the table top". I found that this statement does appear on the Wayfair website but it does NOT appear on Birch Lane. I purchased the table on Birch Lane and never saw the Wayfair advertisement. Be advised, the description does say manufactured wood in the details of About This Product. Turned out not to be nearly as sturdy as it appears online. The surface of the table top has an appearance and feel of plastic. The uneven surface makes it difficult to set cups down with out catching them on the grooves. They will charge $200 if you need to return the item.
