Fan that was delivered did not look like the fan in the picture on the website. Also the quality was less than what would have been acceptable. The ad says solid wood, and the blades felt like balsa wood. I would not recommend this fan.

Great retro looking design, good range of fan speeds on the remote. Does not aesthetically overpower a room and works for 8 foot ceilings. We like it so much we just purchased 2 more, now a total of four.

BEAUTIFUL FAN!!!! If you want a rustic farmhouse feel that has a modern twist, THIS IS IT. The most quiet fan we have ever owned.

It looks very nice and performs well after it was installed. The installation was not easy since the remote receiver and lots of wires had to be connected and placed in the ceiling plate of the fan. Most of the assembly can be done before putting the fan in the fan mount. It looks nice after install. If you are not good with mechanical installs you may want to buy something different.
