These chairs are called loungers and I now understand that is because of the angle of recline designed into the chair. My chairs arrived surprisingly fast and packed well. I love the heaviness of the chairs, and they feel and look expensive and impressive. My only concern is the maintenance, not that it’s hard, I just hope I remember to do it To keep the beautiful color you periodically need to sand and apply teak oil. Update- these are beautiful chairs. The material is actually quite firm yet they’re very comfortable. I didn’t get the ottomans when I purchased but after sitting on them, you definitely want to get those so you can really kick back with your feet up! These chairs are the perfect look for what I needed! They’re a bit more grey(darker) than the photo but they’re fabulous.
