Each frame is crafted from water-, rust-, and UV-resistant solid teak wood and topped with intricately woven resin wicker rope that's wrapped around powder-coated aluminum for extra sturdiness. The chairs are beautiful and the teak wood smells so good. Assembly was easy. My only complaint regards comfort. I like to sit up straight. These chairs are called loungers and I now understand that is because of the angle of recline designed into the chair.
