I ordered three of these carriage lights for our garage and they are stunning! I had chosen these from a gas lighting company that replicate the French Quarter & the cost of those ( being made of copper) would have been four times what I paid for these. I am thrilled!. Sharon. They look beautiful outside the box and on our home, I haven’t tested them out yet, our electrician is installing them as we speak. One thing I want to note is that if your house is at a slight slant, for example our siding has wood panels then it will be slightly angled. Our electrician will be putting silicone behind the plates to make them leveled.. Jennifer. Lake Forest, CA. Thu Apr 21 2022

Classic and cool design elements merge in this vintage-inspired transitional 1-light outdoor lantern. Burleson flaunts its substantial tapered clear seedy glass, captured in a dashing black frame, to deliver a versatile vibe with a hint of European cool to complement a variety of facades.

I’d been eyeing the Birch Lane™ Burleson Black Seeded Glass Outdoor Wall-Mount Lantern that looked gorgeous online. After an actual fire occurred in one of our current l, old porch lanterns (bird tried to build nest), it pushed us to finally pick out a much-needed upgrade for our two, outdoor, front-porch lanterns, and I went right for this model. The brand describes their items having a nautical look, which I can see with its hanging handle arm, but it wouldn’t have occurred to me if I hadn’t read it. The arm does give it an old-fashioned touch, which is paired with clean, simple, black metal that lines the cylindrical glass down to a similar circular end cap. For me, well-made, not overdone seeded glass is beautiful, and adds a unique touch, which definitely holds true here. We chose the 19” H vs 22” H lanterns for our porch size, also noting that they’re wetdry, and use a standard bulb with 100 watt max, which is especially great since they’re also dimmable as a bonus (Dimmer switch to come.). The installation was straightforward, and the plate allowed for “letting go,” making it possible for one person to install and only took about 15 minutes per light. See photos. These lanterns are classic, understated and exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend!. Theresa. Edison, NJ. Sat Jun 25 2022
