Nice planter, I thought they were one solid piece (there was a photo somewhere on the description with welds on the corners), but that's on me for not reading the description thoroughly enough. It did come a little damaged in one corner though. I hammered it straight and put that corner in the back so it doesn't show as much, but would have been nice if it was packaged a little better. I have a monstera that outgrew it's pot long ago. I had such a hard time finding an indoor pot that could properly house such a large plant. I went to gardening centers all over town before I was finally able find this one online that would look nice without breaking the bank. This one was the right size and shape to house my giant monstera, a fern and a pothos together. The downsides that I'm seeing so far are that the dividers are solid to the bottom so I'll have to be sure to water all three sections equally, though with the dividers the middles won't bow out, so they are necessary. Mine was also missing the drain plugs, but Birch Ln has a really simple process regarding missing items and sent them out almost immediately. The upsides are the size and shape which are hard to find in an indoor container, the aesthetic is sleek and clean, there are multiple matching sizes and types to create a uniform look around the house and the drain plugs seem to be working wonderfully.. I had a problem with the initial delivery of two of these gorgeous planters, but the incredibly gracious and efficient customer service more than resolved the issue, and I am so pleased to have sprung for these aesthetically interesting planters that have the look of the best lead/zinc British planters without the weight and expense. I have experience of planters at both ends of the spectrum, aesthetically and price-wise, and I can say that these certainly exceed my expectations for frost-hardy planters with a timeless elegance. The practical considerations of growing small trees, perennials, and some edibles on a windy Manhattan terrace not far from the park - home to elusive hummingbirds I still like to think might be drawn to the right plants in the right container - oh, well, perhaps the birds aren't nearly so picky about the planters they land on as I am, but you get the idea. These are the planters I wanted but couldn't afford the weight of - and shipping costs from England - so while these aren't as light as the plastic versions that don't have the heft in any useful regard, they are wonderful and have a solid presence that is unpretentious and just perfect for my needs. I may tone down the grey of one of the planters to bring it into a darker mode, but that's easily done and I think all gardeners would would find these a neutral but elegant way to grow their gardens..
