I ordered the Connerton Birdbath in Graystone - a sentence I never thought I would say (because my taste in decor would normally never have included a birdbath. I can appreciate them, but they're not really my "thing.") However, my mother, who had exquisite taste, passed unexpectedly several years ago (it's been hell on earth ever since, but that's for another website - not Birch Lane). Since then, I've tried to keep my parents house looking exactly as my mom would have had it, in honor of her and her dignity, of course, AND admittedly, a little selfishly as well, so it still feels like she's still here - like her perfect touches continue with each season. I could never pull up to my childhood home and see it looking like someone else's hands had touched it. Never. She had a birdbath in the front garden but unfortunately it was damaged recently, so I had to replace it. However, so many options out there are SO NOT her. As soon as I came across this one - clean, simple, strong, elegant, classic, understated - I knew she would approve of it. It was delivered super quickly and packaged with a ton of protection but surprisingly very easy to get out of the box. Some reviews note they had issues there, but, it was seamless in my experience. It's beautifully made, the color is a perfect shade of gray - not too dark, not too light (although the photo makes it look MUCH lighter than it actually is), it's very sturdy and there's nothing cheap-looking about it, unlike so much stuff out there. And, as simple as pouring water into sounds, it felt like a very significant moment and made me emotional and proud. I'm really grateful I found it and I know my mom loves it. These two love birds are happy sitting, should we go in and play? It can sit on the ground or can be placed on a petal stool.

Very nice looking piece I love the double leaves and the two little birds. It is smaller than I would’ve liked it to be. It is listed by size which is correct but it’s still disappointing when you realize that it’s smaller when it arrives. Mine is outside, but I bought a acrylic protector spray because I’m not sure that it will hold up with the weather. I will of course bring it inside in the winter. But it is a charming piece. The "Dragon" kilns burn a huge amount of rubber wood at each firing which is very bad for the environment and doesn't provide even firing for the product. Alcott Hill® gas Kilns ensure more even colors and better quality products because the temperature is controllable; unlike that in the wood-fired kilns. This product is a simple hammered copper birdbath bowl with a handrail bracket. The shallow bowl has a round hammered or "peened" texture and a polished copper finish that will patina naturally over time. A threaded base on the underside of the bowl attaches the bowl to the wrought iron bracket. Ideal for porches, decks and fence posts, two mounting holes and hardware are provided.

This birdbath was specifically designed with our pollinator friends in mind. The simple copper bowl has a white Anitra flower that fits into the center. Allowing the petals to dip into the water's surface provides a landing place for bees and butterflies to sip at the edge without falling in. Use it with or without the addition of glass beads or stones. The threaded base on the underside of the bowl attaches it to the center of the bracket. Ideal for porches, balconies, or deck rails, the wrought iron bracket has a C-type clamp that holds the bracket to a deck or handrail without the need for drilling or permanent mounting. Fits over railings up to 5 1/2" wide and is designed with ample clearance for a curved top handrail.

The birdbaths are great quality. Colors are vibrant and the porcelain finish is deep and glossy. I bought two. I took photos of one with my added solar fountain and the other without it. I did buy sand to add and have not added it yet. These photos include pavers underneath so the baths dont get lost among the plants. If you add a fountain, be aware of the bowl shallowness because if you use a spray pattern the water will evaporate too fast. The only reason I rated 4 instead of 5 is due to pricesize ratio.
