I like the looks of these lanterns, but the design flaw made them unworkable for us. The inside glass frame around the bulb is small and, although I am a small person, I could barely get my hand in to insert or change the bulb. Additionally, the bulb Birch Lane recommended are halogen ones which I guess I didn't notice when I ordered and the halogen glass bulb is not supposed to be touched when putting in the bulb. That would be an impossible task. So these and the bulbs are all going back. Unfortunately, returns are not free. I sure hope I like the porch furniture when it arrives next month. Can't imagine what it would cost to return those. Sigh.
