Corten Steel Series Long Box Planter

Nice planter, I thought they were one solid piece (there was a photo somewhere on the description with welds on the corners), but that's on me for not reading the description thoroughly enough. It did come a little damaged in one corner though. I hammered it straight and put that corner in the back so it doesn't show as much, but would have been nice if it was packaged a little better. I am excited to see how it looks after it rusts though.

Two reasons why it lost two stars. First, like other reviews, I thought I order a planter that was already the orange color seeing that in my cart its that color. Second, the pictures are misleading because it looks as though it's a nice even auburn color, but once sprayed it really gives off more of drips and spots of color. If you aren't looking for that rustic look it can be a little disappointing, especially for the price.

Loving watching my planter rust up. It came perfectly packaged in just days after order. Great product. Looking forward to planting soon. No worries about breakage. What’s not to love!

I procrastinate on purchases all the time, especially when purchasing online. So when I decided to buy the Veradex planters I was skeptical but I purchased anyway. They arrived nicely packaged, a day earlier than the expected delivery date. The color was as advertised a raw Corten gray container. Very well built way better than I expected and heavier than I thought they would be. I did the aging process on the planters which was an easy process and they look magnificent. If you are on the fence don’t be! It’s worth it.

Good, study planter. We’ve had these for over a year now and still love them! You'll need to rust these yourself using an easy to mix solution (swipe through photos for the how-to video). It is easy to do - we set ours up on the plastic they came in away from where the kids play and sprayed them several times a day for 3 days and got the full rust look. They will make a stain on the surface underneath, so if you don’t want that, you can buy the matching tray that is sold online. In our case, our deck paint will need to be redone at some point and we just plan to paint over it. Power washing removed most of it, but not all fyi.
