Sommer Wicker 6 - Person Patio Conversation Set with Cushions

I don't recommend the Sommer furniture collection. The individual wicker strands are three colors each -- orangey tan, white and gray, all on one strand. The three colors give the wicker the overall look of a light greige from a distance and from online pictures. Beware that when you see this in person, the colors on each strand are as stark as a zebra's stripes and once you see the contrast up close, you won't be able to unsee it. Birch Lane was great to work with on the return, they were fast and professional and refunded me immediately upon the return. I would not hesitate to buy from Birch Lane again. However, I don't recommend the Sommer furniture collection.

It took a while for me to commit to making such an expensive purchase for outdoor furniture but I’m glad I did. The quality is top-end and the set is beautiful. It comes fully assembled (with the cushions wrapped in protective covering). The cushions are a “griege” color and a little firm but not uncomfortable. You can see from the pictures that the frame color varies by the angle (appearing striped) but isn’t super noticeable. I gave 5 stars despite the issues I had with shipment and delivery. My order was for the sofa, loveseat, chair and coffee table. The chair never arrived. Wayfair issued a refund but I was disappointed not receiving the full set. I ultimately added two side chairs instead. The striped and dark grey pillows and small side tables were also bought separately. The set is neutral enough that any accent colors will look nice. The rug is Wayfair, too. If you’re looking for a deep-seat, quality set, this is it. Even with the missing piece, still thrilled with the the purchase and Wayfair’s responsiveness.

Delivery was on time and set up was just take out of the box- super easy- thank you. The set appears very beautiful, nice color as shown online and sturdy but a closer look and the rattan appears to be made of solid very strong plastic. I realize it is meant for outdoor seating which would account for material but I have placed it inside in my living room and would have preferred rattan.

Love love love!! This is a beautiful set. I ordered an additional chair to go with it. These are well made and gorgeous in real life. The colors in the wicker are gray and a light taupe. The seating cushions are firm but comfortable, and are a silver/gray color. This set came with pillows in a gray/white geometric pattern. In the photo, the plastic is still on the cushions and my rug and umbrella have not arrived yet - so don't judge me. ;-)
