These chairs are SOLID! We got them because the Sun in Arizona is extremely harsh and we needed something super durable that wouldn’t rot out or fade or that we’d have to repaint in a year. Love that these include a 20 year warranty with them too. There was also zero assembly needed. They came out of the box ready to go!

These chairs are lovely. They are heavy and sturdy. I took away 1 star because like others said the “x” back isn’t the most comfortable. However, I still love the look of the chairs and will be keeping. Adding a cushion should help with the comfort level. Overall good purchase.

I ordered eight chairs and every one had weird little fringe at the end of the boards as if it had been cut with a dull blade resulting in “eyelashes” and it looked awful! To Polywood’s credit, they are all being replaced under warranty. There is an apparent lack of quality control happening. Not just with these, but a slate gray table that was black, a warped parsons table that was replaced with a parsons table but the box only had 2 legs. This has been ridiculous. There are many other furniture options, but I have remained brand loyal. My mistake. I thought price should be a reflection of quality but Polywood has proven that wrong!

I have a bench that is polywood like this chair and it has been outside in all seasons of weather and it still looks like new. So, I know this chair will last a long time. It is comfortable and there were only 5 pieces to assemble. One problem was that on the back panel there were no holes drilled which I have circled in my pictures.
