If you would like to use an umbrella stand, this table makes it challenging! There is a 2" hole, 6 inches from the ground. Unfortunately, all umbrella stands on the market are 2" for the outer circumference to accommodate umbrellas 1.5" - 1.75" (ish) and will not fit through, so I'm at a loss for how this design made it through quality and usability testing. I requested help from the Birch Lane design team and they were able to find an umbrella stand to fit (US Weight 50 lbs. Fillable Capacity Round Outdoor Patio Umbrella Base in Bronze). Not the most attractive option, but inexpensive and it did fit under the table!! Thank you to Lisa for the help! Table and chairs were easy to put together. Decent quality. We will see how it holds up in the coastal climate. Hoping for the best
