The biggest surprise was that it arrived fully assembled. My husband was especially happy about that since there were no parts, tools, or instructions to deal with. We literally took it out of the box and put it in place.
The tabletop has a nice teak-like appearance, but it's made from PS slats, so you get the look of wood without the upkeep. Living in Florida, I appreciate that it won't need staining or sealing, and it should hold up better to the sun and rain than real wood.
The table is a good size for drinks, snacks, and whatever else ends up on the patio. It feels sturdy, looks nice with our outdoor furniture, and was packaged well when it arrived.
