Townsend Sunbrella® Patio Lounge Chair

Item seems nice enough, lighter in weight than imagined but the bigger issue was the item arrived missing one of the wood armrests - how is this at even possible? The holes were drilled but no armrest. Customer service said they could not replace the piece but offered to send me another chair - in a month. That was not going to meet my needs (after it took a month to arrive from the time I ordered for the original order to arrive). I expected much better quality and outcome from Birch Lane, especially for the price. I don’t think $500 per chair was equivalent what I received, much less to e missing part. Oh, and the directions are relatively unrelated to the parts received. I’ve never been defeated by even the most complicated “build at home” purchase, but in this case the instruction diagrams and the parts to assemble don’t match. Buyer beware.

BUYER -BEWARE!!!!! For complete details of my review please see my trustpilot review. I placed an order on March 1, 2026 for 2 outdoor chairs and 1 ottoman. I did not receive the chairs and only a portion of the ottoman until 4/12. One chair was defective and had to be replaced. After several calls and emails regarding the missing item and defective chair, I received the replacement chair on 6/4. On 6/8/26 I received an email stating they were cancelling the ottoman order because they were no longer available.! POOR service over a very long 14 weeks!!

Good quality for the price. Came in 2 boxes, one for cushions and one for the chair. Relatively easy to put together, only a few pieces. All the tools we needed were present. Only surprising thing was that the seat is attached to the frame only with zip ties. Cushions are full and comfortable!

These are very contemporary looking and comfortable. The base is webbed so allows better comfort. Easy to assembly.

The package did not include assembly instructions, so it took a while to figure it out and assemble ourselves. Overall, the quality of the furniture seems good. I'm worried that the cushions are not attached to the chairs and can easily slide.
