It’s POLYWOOD! How can you go wrong Yes, the price is very high but they have a 20 year warranty. Their pieces are very heavy so you won’t have to worry about them sliding around or getting flipped over in a typical storm. It took minimal time to put together which is an added bonus. I love these chairs!!!!

This is a brand I trust, and this chaise did not disappoint. The chaise is absolutely beautiful and very well built. It gives a sleek and modern look. The mahogany color is very rich and high end looking. It feels sturdy and durable yet comfortable. I can lounge for hours. The included instructions made this chaise very easy to assemble. It took me under 20 minutes.

The POLYWOOD x Birch Lane Verlyn Chaise is extremely well made. This is not one of those lightweight, flimsy lounge chairs that blows across the patio in a summer storm. It’s heavy, solid, and feels like it will last for years. Living in South Florida, outdoor furniture has to survive brutal sun, heat, humidity, and the occasional sideways rain. This material is perfect for that climate. It doesn’t feel like it’s going to warp, crack, or fade easily, and that alone gives it a big advantage over cheaper options. The wheels are a nice touch for repositioning, but because the chair itself is substantial, it still feels grounded and stable when you’re lounging. My only hesitation is the price. It’s a significant investment for a single chaise, and that's likely because of the name brand. The quality is there, no question — but buyers should be prepared for the premium price tag. If durability and long-term performance in harsh weather are your top priorities, this is a strong contender. Just go in knowing it’s more of a long-game purchase than a budget-friendly buy.

This was easy to assemble without help. The chaise is sturdy, and looks great. It is easy to maneuver with having the wheels. I will definitely be adding a cushion. I did not see it offered to purchase with a cushion. Highly recommend!
