Beautiful sturdy chairs. Some of the screws are difficult to screw in all the way because of the small Allen wrench.

These chairs are sturdy and comfortable. They dry quickly after it rains , which I was concerned about, being the seats are rope. We had one chair arrive broken but Birch Lane quickly sent a replacement and a shipping label to return the broken one. I experienced Birch Lane customer service to be efficient, prompt and very supportive. They were easy to contact and followed up with every step.

Oil the eucalyptus at least 2 times per year to maintain the stain. Surface areas require more care if in direct sunlight. Use name-brand teak, linseed, or hardwood oils for outdoor use. Do not use oil on the rope. If it comes in contact, clean right away. A natural patina will occur if no products are used and left outdoors. Always cover or store away your furniture during harsh weather and winter. Caution: oil-soaked rags should be disposed of carefully.
