Nice design, beautifully made.

Seat slat broke after 1 week. Slats held in place only by a dowel at each end. No real signs of glue bonding slat to frame. Might be okay if you limit weight to 150 lb, or always use with a stiff cushion. Inadequate for most male adults (I weigh 195).

Beautiful design, well made and sturdy, these chairs are truly gorgeous. Indonesian woodworkers are among the worlds best. I highly recommend them, in fact, I liked them so much, I bought 6!
