POLYWOOD x Birch Lane Verlyn Dining Arm Chair

I have a bench that is polywood like this chair and it has been outside in all seasons of weather and it still looks like new. So, I know this chair will last a long time. It is comfortable and there were only 5 pieces to assemble. One problem was that on the back panel there were no holes drilled which I have circled in my pictures. I drilled a hole on each side and got it together. I love polywood furniture it’s very sturdy and beautiful.

What a beautiful Black Polywood x Birch Lane chair! It is very heavy and so very easy to assemble. 8 screws and I was done using the provided hex tool. The seat and back are separate but preassembled requiring only the attachment of the arms and rear bottom brace. The holes aligned perfectly. The screw holes are covered by the insert plugs, like a wooden chair would have been assembled with dowel pieces to cover them. The chair is very generously sized, perfect for an adult and it will be the perfect addition to my patio this spring. No complaints!

Sturdy, practical addition to your porch or patio. This dining chair is supposed to be used at your outdoor dining table, but my husband does not like our options for outdoor furniture and felt like this would give him the best back support. I made it less stark with a colorful pillow, but it’s heavy, well constructed and provides him with the support that he needs. My one complaint is that the seat has a very minor misalignment, which causes a small gap in the front of the chair on one side. No one but my husband will notice it, but it’s still annoying to order something and have it arrive imperfect. (Especially when your spouse is a skilled tradesman and notices these things.) If the finish and construction hold up on this chair, I will be purchasing more in the future.
