This is truly a unique piece. It is the first time I've encountered a dresser with concave drawers. This graceful characteristic offsets the heaviness of its structure and gives the body an elegant line. The "charred " stain is of course one of Furniture Classics hallmark features I've encountered before in their furniture. An interior design article recently stated that Dressers are a trend on their way out. Really?? Beautiful piece, it sets up tall but fills in the space nicely. The only downside is the access from the back of the unit is only a 2 inch circle so fitting the wires through can be a bit challenging, but there is plenty of drawers space to accommodate any features or software appliances that you want to maintain.. Solid piece. Love the detailing. Was less than impressed with delivery company communication and delivery. The movers were nice, but if you live on a military base I would suggest to only order items with direct mail delivery. Took over 6 times for the delivery to be completed, but not to our house. Had to rent our own trailer and figure out how to move the very heavy piece in to the house. The stars are for the piece itself. This is a unique and beautiful weathered shabby chic/French Country piece but it is not as well-made as I would have hoped for the price. The doors don’t have anything to catch when you close them. Which is odd. It’s solid wood and really attractive though and looks good in the space by my dark brown wood table. The color is true to the website too.
