These could not be more perfect. I have been searching for pendants for above our island for over 9 months. We had three, tiny, builder-grade pendants in this space before and they did nothing for our kitchen. I wanted to be sure the size of whatever we bought would look appropriate with our tall ceilings and open floor plan. These do such a wonderful job of filling the space without looking crowded. We have a lot of black in our house (curtain rods, dining room chairs, etc) and although these are technically a dark, dark brown, they still look great. I don't foresee wanting to paint them or anything. Clean out the glass and consider using gloves when you're installing to avoid dust and fingerprints inside the pendants. Other than that, enjoy. Finished with warm accents. is 20" in width and has an adjustable height ranging from 8" to 62". It uses one standard-size bulb of up to 60 watts.
