This 1-light schoolhouse pendant has an adjustable height, so you can make sure you get just the right illumination over your dining room table or in your entryway. It's also compatible with a dimmer switch for adjustable ambiance. This pendant features a clear glass schoolhouse shade for a farmhouse look, and is suspended from a slim downrod and caged finial for a simple look. This fixture takes a single 60W bulb, which is sold separately – we recommend picking up an Edison bulb for just the right pop of retro flair.

These could not be more perfect. I have been searching for pendants for above our island for over 9 months. We had three, tiny, builder-grade pendants in this space before and they did nothing for our kitchen. I wanted to be sure the size of whatever we bought would look appropriate with our tall ceilings and open floor plan. These do such a wonderful job of filling the space without looking crowded. We have a lot of black in our house (curtain rods, dining room chairs, etc) and although these are technically a dark, dark brown, they still look great. I don't foresee wanting to paint them or anything. Clean out the glass and consider using gloves when you're installing to avoid dust and fingerprints inside the pendants. Other than that, enjoy. They're fantastic. :). Hannah. Denton, TX. Wed Oct 26 2022

The coordinating downrods can be adjusted to best suit your ceiling height, and this item can be installed with a dimmer switch, so you can adjust the light to your liking.

Love these pendants. You can’t go wrong if this is the look you are going after. I was almost going to buy from Pottery Barn, but then I saw these were on sale. I lucked out. To me its chic! In the photos, when taken out of the box and installed it read chic and sophisticated. My ceiling has a bit of a slant - which has proven to be tricky installing pendant lights in the past. Not so with the [Dalena] 1 cone pendant. As it is located in a high traffic area and there are several tall people that regularly traverse the area, I opted to not use the included brushed nickel rods. I tried the shorter one but it was still just a bit too long. I think with a higher ceiling I would have used the rods for sure, but it works so smartly without using the rods. I can easily choose what length works best for me. The package came quickly although on back order and was packed very professionally from the manufacturer.. Leslie. Quakertown Pa. Tue May 02 2023
