I love my new Sconce! I looked over several sites for a swing arm that would offer plug-in capability for using on my antique desk. This is my bedside tablenightstand that does not offer space for a standard lamp. I like that I can easily reach it from my bed allowing me to move it to where I need the light. Its sturdy construction and finish is perfect. I will be getting a brass cord cover but the cord is black cloth covered and looks high-end so it’s really not needed. Yes - beautiful, coastal, elegant. Works so well in my powder room with the colors we have. Only complaint I have is one of the screws rusted out and lost its color/sheen. I don’t have a replacement and it spoils the look.. Cheryl. Jupiter, FL. Fri Oct 09 2026

The curve of the arm and clean connectors of the seeded glass dome is a welcoming look over a foyer table, bookending art, or accompanying a mirror in a powder room. Update and elevate any space with the versatile seeded glass wall sconce.

This sconce looks really nice by my living room entrance. As there was no indication it was for only a dry only location in the description, it was going to be installed outside, at my front door entry. We simply installed it on the opposite side of the same wall indoors! My friend did a Sho sugi ban finish on the mounting board to add a pop of contrast and more securely install the sconce. It elevates my space and conveniently adds quick lighting and ambiance when the nights grow long once again. Likely Ill leave it on in the winter nights with this LED bulb for added security and a nice warm glow looking inside.. Leslie. Quakertown, PA. Thu Jun 22 2023

It's also compatible with dimmer switches, so you can set the mood for both quick morning showers and leisurely baths before bed. And, it includes a switch.

Light is nice and exactly as I had hoped and as described. I had hoped for the light to end up being like the other reviewers' results, hardwired with the wires hidden from view, but had anticipated that there would be some anamoly preventing any such results, and of course that was the case, but due to what cause I am not quite sure as of yet. I would have liked for the light to have been installed a bit lower as well, as the fixture utilized a turning knob to switch it off and on and not a rocker switch on the cord itself. I have to unplug it just barely from the socket that the electrician installed for my new light as my stepstool isn't tall enough for me to reach the turny knob, but that's okay. I forgot to order any light bulbs so I got vintage style 60 watt daylight bulbs at the hardware store but found that much brighter than what I'm used to as I'm still used to the non-LED bulbs in my other fixtures. I switched to 40 watt soft white bulbs and am very pleased as well as with the 40 watt daylight options, so to me the 40 watt bulbs are ideal. I sort of wish I had looked more into a different style of fixture and had selected something that sticks out 90 degrees from the wall, but that is due to me being so delighted with the black option in both this fixture and a pendant from the same collection that I couldn't help myself and just had to purchase them both as I am wanting to add more black to my decor style than what I've decorated with in the past in previous housing that I've lived in. This style gives me just the look I was hoping it would and ties in with the stove burners and black places on the fridge as well as the frame from some artwork that I have elsewhere in the room. I love that the shades are clear glass and I love the size of the fixture. It's not so small and adorned with "for-looks-only" types of adjustors knobs but holds a well-built presence in the room. Exactly as I had pictured the light to look. I'm pleased with how quickly my order had arrived as well, I had ordered on a Sunday and the order had completely arrived by Wednesday in time for the electrician to arrive on Thursday and complete the installation on Friday. Thank you, Birch Lane, for a stress-free and efficient experience. I am quite pleased that other options available in this collection were offered so as to make this a pleasant and convenient shopping experience for me. I've been getting overwhelmed and upset by so many options and confused by the separated collection selections that I've been having some issues when trying to select lighting options to update my house from flourescent lights and no lights and have gotten nothing accomplished in almost 9 months. My experience with Birch Lane was entirely wholly pleasant and I am looking forward to getting another project on my list underway. I am very pleased with my new look!. Anonymous. Sat Jul 27 2024
