I absolutely love these pendant lights! I had been searching for the right lights for our kitchen island for a while, and these were exactly what I was hoping to find. They have so much more character than a basic pendant and instantly made our kitchen feel warmer and more finished. To me its chic! In the photos, when taken out of the box and installed it read chic and sophisticated. My ceiling has a bit of a slant - which has proven to be tricky installing pendant lights in the past. Not so with the [Dalena] 1 cone pendant. As it is located in a high traffic area and there are several tall people that regularly traverse the area, I opted to not use the included brushed nickel rods. I tried the shorter one but it was still just a bit too long. I think with a higher ceiling I would have used the rods for sure, but it works so smartly without using the rods.
