It should not have taken as long as it did to install this light… the directions were basically just pictures. This is a really disappointing purchase. The fixture was delivered on time and seemed to be in good condition upon being unboxed. It was easy to install, as well. Despite all this, the fixture does not look level. It is plumb and level according to my tools, but the shade is poorly constructed and doesn't sit properly on the fixture itself. I will be contacting customer service because I am not sure there is anything I can do to fix the problem myself. UPDATE: Customer service was stellar... at first. I was able to return this item and receive another fixture (no charge for shipping either way). And then I opened the box of the second fixture to find that the shade of the second fixture was dented. Quality control appears poor for this item. And now I have to pay shipping for this return. I love that it’s modern but classic too and could go with many styles, I’m going to be hanging this in my rental but I was blown away with the quality and size of this thing- an instant way to make your place look expensive.
