To me its chic! In the photos, when taken out of the box and installed it read chic and sophisticated. My ceiling has a bit of a slant - which has proven to be tricky installing pendant lights in the past. Not so with the [Dalena] 1 cone pendant. As it is located in a high traffic area and there are several tall people that regularly traverse the area, I opted to not use the included brushed nickel rods. I tried the shorter one but it was still just a bit too long. I think with a higher ceiling I would have used the rods for sure, but it works so smartly without using the rods. I looked at these for weeks before I made a decision. Yikes. One fixture I cannot get to hang straight. While they are glass, it is up on one side and down on the other. Out of the 3, one has a large ring on top which is different than the other 2 with a small ring and no that’s not the one that’s crooked. There are small chips on the rim of all 3 of them.
