Lovely fan. We installed in our living room. The instructions were not great, but we managed to figure it out. My husband and I put it together and hung it up in about 3 hours. To be fair, we had not installed a ceiling fan before so for others out there that have, it could very well take you less time. We did not install the light (but it did come with the fan). Only rated it 4 stars because I thought it would push a little more air around than it actually does, especially for the amount of blades it has! This Minka Aire fan is beautiful resembling an airplane propeller, and I purchased two. We purchased one in Koa wood and the other in white. These are quality made. They run quietly, and they push down a lot of cool air. The white one is on all of the time, and we have had no problems with either one.
