This is a beautiful chandelier and exactly the transitional style I wanted. It was larger than I expected but once installed it fit the space perfectly. I honestly was super excited about this light fixture online, but in person I was a bit underwhelmed. The shades are not white as shown in the stock photo- more of an ivory. The unit itself seems kind of cheap and we had to bend the arms of it a bit to make it look straight. For a more casual dining space, I think this would be ok. I’m not sure if it’s worth the cost.. Based on the description and photographs, I expected the shades to be white, but they are really ivory (almost beige) color. Because the shades were not white (or even off white), I had to change some of the other decor in my dining room. It is also difficult to get the shades to stay level and the whole chandelier to stay level.
