The light itself is beautiful. Unfortunately, it arrived broken so I need to return. It is definitely heavy and feels like you’re holding a sink when taking it out of the box. The color definitely says that it is teal but in the picture showed a little more sage green, which is what I was hoping for, but it is definitely more blue glaze over what looks like a sage underneath. I am still going to hold the light in the space to see if it picks up green, but don’t know if I will re-purchase as I need something a little more durable in the space.. Athena. Wake Forest, NC. This is a lovely pendant light. Ceramic is very unusual for lights and you might not think it would look different than a sort of plastic but you can tell it’s ceramic and looks like a hand crafted piece with the black painted stripe. The rope-style cord to cover the electrical parts is a beautiful detail and fits the style so well by adding a soft and natural texture. It’s really just beautiful and would fit farmhouse, traditional, nautical or casual relaxed styles. There’s lots of extra line available if you need to drop it from a higher ceiling or vault.
