These are the bulbs that Visual Comfort, a high-end lighting company with which I have had great success, recommended to go with their wall sconces. They are strong, white – not soft at all. At night, the white actually has a greenish ghostly hue. And, one already blew out after one month. Not what I would expect from Visual Comfort.
