This would have been a FIVE star review if the sconces were less orange/gold. I called customer service to return one - it had a big black mark on it that could not be cleaned off. They told me they would send a new one and I could donate the marred one. Since I had nothing to lose, I went and bought several containers of metallic paints to paint over the existing color. Using a natural sponge, I was able to dab a lighter color champagne gold over the bright gold for the perfect effect. I called them back to tell them not to bother to send a new one since I was really happy with the result. In turn, I was given a discount. What a nice surprise!

These showed up just as pictured and are so pretty! They should include a photo of the sconce when turned on because they look even nicer when lit.
