This lamp is beautiful and looks very high end. When lit, it gives a warm glow to our dining room. Cord is heavy duty and flexible with the on/off switch on the cord which is convenient. Note the height of the lamp is a lot taller than most buffet lamps which gives the illusion that our ceiling is taller than it is. Highly recommend!

LOVE the lamp - exact height I wanted BUT WHAT A MESS UNPACKING. Please give warning to open the box in an outdoor setting. Packing peanuts everywhere, huge outer box with smaller box containing the lamp inside surrounded by peanuts. Nightmare!
