Love the lamp shade - really stands out. I had to return because it does take up a wide base area. Would have kept it if there was enough room.

We love our new lamp. It goes great in the corner of our living room. The only drawback is that the cord does hang and takes away some visual appeal. Not sure what you could do with the cord with this style of lamp.
