I thought I would really love this lamp but the brass finish is a very harsh gold color and the base is hollow and cheap. Assembly was annoying. Now Perigold is charging me $57 to return.

I’m in the process of redecorating my master bedroom and have been looking for bedside table lamps for months. Came across these and could not be more pleased. They are beautiful, extremely high-quality, and exactly what I was looking for.
Why not bring home a hint of traditional style with this table lamp? It's made from solid brass with a finish that contrasts with the oatmeal-toned linen drum shade. The fabric tempers the glow from a single bulb, which is sold separately and controlled by a rotary switch. Bonus: You can easily adjust the height with a decorative joint on the pole, so you can use it as a bedside or buffet lamp.
