Lamp shade gives off a lavender glow. I tried several different light bulb temperatures and lumens. The gold base is very dark/copper toned/cheap looking, not a pretty light gold/minimalist as pictured. The packaging is styrofoam and will create a huge mess in your home. Repacking it for return is difficult and recreates the mess. $18 loss on return shipping. Photographed with the exact same bulb in all 3 lamps.
