This lamp is much lower quality than I expected, especially for the price. The shade and bulb hang from a braided wire that was quite twisted in the packaging and it doesn't untwist well. The braided wire looks cheap and isn't sturdy. The only impressive thing about the lamp is the weight of the base. The rest of it is very cheaply made. Not worth the money. I hope I can return it without the protective covers on it. Also, the power switch is in a terribly inconvenient place on this lamp. Don't recommend!
