Swanmore 64.75'' Dimmable Floor Lamp

I love this lamp so much! It’s beautiful quality. The pleated shade is so charming. It’s very Nancy Meyers vibes! I have it in the corner of my hearth room. I love the brass color frame. It looks fantastic. The only criticism I have is that the chord on the base is positioned at the front of the lamp, instead of the back. I tried multiple times reassembling it to make it positioned towards the back but gave up. Maybe I did something wrong. The base is out of sight anyway, but it does bug my OCD a bit. Just a weird design flaw for an otherwise perfect lamp! It’s my favorite lamp for sure!

This lamp looks really beautiful when assembled. However, I agree with another reviewer that the shade should be more of an off white. The stark white makes even a warm lightbulb look too bright and harsh. Since finding the particular shade type this lamp would need would be tough, I ended up returning the lamp. But it looks really lovely when put together. The mechanism to adjust the shade was a little tough to figure out, but you just have to align the parts correctly with the little opening to adjust the shade downwards. The knob on the side of the lamp is purely decorative.

Very bright and provides ample light!

I do love my Swanmore floor lamp! Only one thing I seem to have a little difficulty is turning the “stick-shift” on/off. Also, is the lamp shade adjustable by the wing-nut near the top? It doesn’t seem to want to budge to adjust. Looking forward to your reply. Thanks.
