This gorgeous chandelier replaced a dated ceiling fan and is just the upgrade my dining room needed. We have a dimmer installed and the light it provides is perfect - with full power plenty of light for games or puzzles and then as moody as we want to get. Very happy. Installer had no issues with putting it up. I will add that the shade is not white; I was surprised upon opening it to see it was a natural linen color. This is a really disappointing purchase. The fixture was delivered on time and seemed to be in good condition upon being unboxed. It was easy to install, as well. Despite all this, the fixture does not look level. It is plumb and level according to my tools, but the shade is poorly constructed and doesn't sit properly on the fixture itself. I will be contacting customer service because I am not sure there is anything I can do to fix the problem myself. UPDATE: Customer service was stellar... at first. I was able to return this item and receive another fixture (no charge for shipping either way). And then I opened the box of the second fixture to find that the shade of the second fixture was dented. Quality control appears poor for this item. And now I have to pay shipping for this return.
