The first lamp arrived with two ink marks on the shade had a bulge under the base, which caused the lamp to lean. We sent it back, but the replacement lamp arrived with a very visible rope separation on the base. Sent that one back, too, ordered from a different company. That lamp arrived in perfect condition.

One arrived in defective order. The roping had holes and the bottom was damaged so that it did not sit level. We had already unpacked the other one so I felt stuck with it. Birch Lane did send a replacement but overall quality is poor.
