This is a well-made, modern reading lamp with a clean, minimalist design. Assembly was quick, and it feels stable once assembled. The light is excellent for reading, and the adjustable head makes it easy to direct the beam exactly where you want it. My only reason for giving it four instead of five stars is the finish. In the product photos, I expected a warmer brass tone, but in person it leans more toward a muted bronze/gray finish depending on the lighting. It’s still attractive, but if you’re trying to add a warm brass accent to a room, it may not have quite the look you’re expecting. I love this lamp so much! It’s beautiful quality. The pleated shade is so charming. It’s very Nancy Meyers vibes! I have it in the corner of my hearth room. I love the brass color frame. It looks fantastic. The only criticism I have is that the chord on the base is positioned at the front of the lamp, instead of the back. I tried multiple times reassembling it to make it positioned towards the back but gave up. Maybe I did something wrong. The base is out of sight anyway, but it does bug my OCD a bit.
