Lamp shade bigger than expected, yellow lamp shade and brass is very bright.

This was the second one I ordered. I needed the white with polished nickel and I originally ordered the black and brass. The first one was also damaged when it arrived. This polished nickel lamp is perfect and looks great in my home.

Good, solid base and weight. Lampshade is large and emits soft and balanced light.

This lamp is terrific. It is well made and worth the price. Has a weighty base, is very stable. Proportions are just right and finishes are first class. It's just what we wanted. The lamp was carefully packed, and arrived promptly. Easy to assemble. We looked at many options on line, and this was the best we could find. We are glad it turned out so well for us.

Overall ok lamp. Annoyed about packaging as it was protected by styrofoam that breaks into a zillion little pieces, charged to stick on hands and floor. The switch plate is a floor disc—plastic and sure not to last. Concept is really nice, however, it does not translate to a high quality lamp. Rather, switch puts it in the Mediocre class. And, certainly not up to the past reputation of Perigold company.

It is lovely…fits beautifully with living rm furnishings….quality piece…with all lamps wish the cord was invisible…
