I purchased this pendant in black to replace a flourescent style fixture above the kitchen sink. I am extremely pleased as this fixture is exactly what I had anticipated except the shade is much more substantial and not cheap or too small-looking. It has great proportion and looks very stylish. I am so glad I was able to update my lighting to such a look so easily and efficiently as I did and am very pleased with the quality of my new fixtures.
