Delivery box was damaged and steel base was dented as well. Not happy about this purchase.

I would not buy this lamp again...the problems start with the packaging. The worst kind of styrofoam is used -- the kind that explodes into a million tiny balls that you will be vacuuming up for eternity while cursing the Chinese all the while. Most importantly, this lamp is NOT suitable for placement on carpet. Instead of having a flat, stable base, this lamp has a number of small feet that protrude from below the base causing it to heavily lean in one direction while placed on carpet. For the money, I certainly expected better quality and functionality. I would return it if it was not such a hassle to do so with all of the styrofoam, etc.
